Little Mozarts
pre-kindergarten and kindergarten
Introduction to the violin and the keyboard. Teacher CHRISTINE MALONE KLINE will use her own violin method to get everyone playing! Children will also use a piano lab to become familiar with the keyboard. Exploring music through story telling, art viewing and movement will be included in every class. Although children can participate independently parents are always welcome to join in! Each child will be given a violin to borrow for the duration of their participation.

Future Virtuosos Violin I
Violin class for new violinists who have never played, and for beginners who want a review and an extra boost. Students who do not have a violin will be given a violin for the duration of their participation.
Ages 6 & 7
Tuesdays from 5:00 - 5:30

Tuesdays from 5:30 - 6:00

Young Rembrandts I
Learn how to draw from the ground up. Learn the secrets of the masters and begin your journey toward becoming an independent artist.
Ages 6 & 7

TUITION (register now)
All Classes $10.00 per class, 30 minute classes. Violins will be provided as needed and art supplies will be included. * Payments should be made on a weekly basis at the time the class is attended.
Students enrolling in 2 classes will receive a 50% discount on the 2nd class.
Private lessons are offered and arranged on an individual basis. Private lessons are $35.00 per half hour.
THE TEACHERS
CHRISTINE MALONE KLINE is in her 20th year teaching Lower School violin at the Country Day School of the Sacred Heart. Christine is also a composer of vocal music who has premiered and conducted her works at Carnegie Hall, the Kimmel Center and the Academy of Music. She has also written methods for early violin and early piano. Christine is a graduate of Immaculata University and is currently pursuing her Master of Music in Education degree at Boston University.
JOHN C. KLINE is a graduate of the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. He has been teaching on the main line for 15 years, the past 13 years at the Country Day School of the Sacred Heart. John's works have been shown in various galleries and museums in the Philadelphia and New York area, including the American Museum of Art at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. His latest showing was in the Artworks Gallery in the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
